Justin Thomas Collects 10th PGA Tour Victory At BMW Championship With SuperStroke

WIXOM, MICHIGAN — Justin Thomas collected his 10th PGA Tour Victory at the BMW Championship, cruising to a three-shot victory at Medinah with a SuperStroke Traxion Pistol GT Tour putter grip.

With the win, Thomas moves to the No. 1 spot in the FedExCup Standings, putting him in prime position to claim the $15 million FedEx Cup top prize at the Tour Championship.

“We want to congratulate Justin on this well-deserved and important win,” said SuperStroke CEO Dean Dingman. “He’s an unbelievable talent, and we’re proud to see him trusting our technology. We wish him all the best at East Lake.”

Thomas stands fifth in the Official World Golf Rankings. In 2018, he climbed to the No. 1 spot in the world using a SuperStroke putter grip. He also earned his major championship victory, the 2017 PGA Championship, with a SuperStroke putter grip.

The Traxion Pistol GT is a modern take on a beloved classic. It merges a pistol-style top section that helps golfers lock in their upper hand position with “No Taper Technology” to improve their ability to maintain even grip pressure and boost the consistency of their stroke.

The grip is available in three sizes: Pistol GT Tour, Pistol GT 1.0, and Pistol GT 2.0. The Pistol GT Tour offers the most compact shape and is often preferred by better golfers.

Like all SuperStroke Traxion putter grips, Pistol GT offers Traxion Control, an advanced surface texture that boosts responsiveness. Its design strategically places “X-shaped treads” in “Traxion Zones” throughout the grip, amplifying feedback in the areas where the sensitive parts of a golfer’s hands contact the grip surface.

Traxion Series grips also feature SuperStroke’s new Spyne Technology, a heavily embossed ridge on the underside of the grips. Spyne Technology functions as a reminder that guides golfers to repeatable hand placement.

Traxion Series putter grips ($29.99 USD each) are available in 15 distinct models including the new Traxion CLAW 2.0, which was created specifically to accommodate the many variations of the fast-growing Claw grip.

In 2009, SuperStroke changed putter grips forever with an innovative line of grips featuring its patented “No Taper Technology.” The company has since earned a commanding lead as the No. 1 Putter Grip in Golf and the undisputed putter grip technology leader.

SuperStroke’s current lineup includes performance-driven swing and putter grips that are trusted by major champions Jordan Spieth, Jason Dufner, and hundreds of other professional golfers around the world.
