Patrick Cantlay Wins the TOUR Championship Using a SuperStroke Flatso 1.0

Patrick Cantlay took full advantage of his head start on the rest of the field at the season-ending TOUR Championship, capturing a one-shot victory and a $15 million payday on Sunday. The former UCLA Bruin made several clutch putts coming down the stretch, including a nervy six-footer for bogey on the penultimate hole and a two-putt birdie on 18 to seal the win. The victory sees Cantlay finish the season atop the FedExCup rankings and move up to fourth in the Official World Golf Rankings. It also marks his fourth win this season and his second in a row following last week’s win at the BMW Championship.

Cantlay had a long road to the top. Once the top ranked amateur in the world, he suffered a back injury during his rookie season on the PGA TOUR that saw him sidelined for more that two years. He captured his first win in 2018 at the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open followed the next year by a win at the Memorial.

Cantlay took advantage of the exceptional feel and stability of the SuperStroke Flatso 1.0 putter grip during his historic win. Featuring a distinct pentagonal profile with a wide, flat front grip shape with five pronounced edges, the Traxion Flatso offers incredible stability, feel and feedback.

Elsewhere on the leaderboard fellow ambassador Jordan Spieth who finished T20 with a score of 4-under-par.

In addition to the company’s leading putter grips, Spieth uses the SuperStroke S-Tech club grips.

Designed for golfers who demand the ultimate in feedback and control, the S-Tech club grip is constructed using a premium engineered rubber compound that provides just the right amount of softness and tack. The added Cross-Traction surface texture offers incredible non-slip performance in all weather conditions.
